Turning fragmented data into actionable intelligence

Our approach follows six short steps, from bringing sources together to learning from results. At each step, people stay in charge of the decision.

Six steps

  1. Connect

Bring authorized sources together through secure exchanges, with their origin and date recorded.

Output: An inventory of connected sources.

  2. Validate

Check formats, completeness and identities, and match records that refer to the same taxpayer.

Output: A quality report and matched identities.

  3. Analyze

Compare periods and sources to detect inconsistencies, unusual patterns and emerging risks.

    Output: Explained signals, not conclusions.

  4. Prioritize

Rank cases by risk, amount at stake and available capacity, with the factors behind each priority.

Output: A sorted list of cases to examine.

  5. Act

Officers review the case and choose the appropriate action under their procedures.

    Output: A recorded human decision.

  6. Learn

Results and data corrections feed back into rules, models and performance tracking.

    Output: Better signals over time.

An example

Illustrative example — not a real case.

A company declares a sharp drop in turnover. Authorized customs data shows stable imports over the same period.

The system flags the difference with its sources and a confidence level. An officer checks the identity, looks for plausible explanations and decides whether to request information, open a desk audit or close the case.

People decide, the system assists

A signal is a reason to look, not evidence of fraud. Scores help prioritize; they never trigger a sanction on their own.

Every decision is taken by an authorized officer and recorded with its legal basis, so the process can be reviewed and improved.
